Who is responsible

Joel Arndt, Mortgage Agent Level 2 with Sherwood Mortgage Group Inc., operates The Mortgage Wayfinder. Questions, access requests, and deletion requests: funded@joelarndt.ca.

What we collect

• Passport details: first name, last name, phone, and email.
• Map progress: how far you have travelled and which tools you unlocked or opened.
• Tool answers you choose to save: household cash flow, down-payment accounts and balances, credit-shield questionnaire answers, and application-prep checklists.
• Guests who never sign up keep progress only in this browser. That data is not sent to us until you create a passport.

Why we collect it

So the tools remember your numbers, and so Joel Arndt can see your progress and saved answers in order to advise you. We do not sell this information. Creating a passport is consent to this use.

Who can see it

You can see and update your own passport. Joel Arndt can see all passports in the admin dashboard in order to help you. The app is hosted with Supabase, which stores the data on our behalf. They are not allowed to use it for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep your Wayfinder passport while you use it. If there is no activity for 24 months, we delete the passport data from this website. If you become a mortgage client, documents and notes in the brokerage file may be kept longer as required by mortgage and brokerage rules. That is separate from this app.

Access, correction, and deletion

Email funded@joelarndt.ca to see, correct, or delete your Wayfinder data. We will complete requests within 30 days. You can also update your name and phone in your passport while signed in.

Complaints

If we cannot resolve a privacy concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
